She was like the daughter of Chun-Li and Chuck Norris. this was a woman who beat Xenos to death with her bare hands and punched through metal! I would LOVE to see a woman like Linn Kurosawa from the AVP Arcade Game. instead of a Warrior, be a Praetorian and attack your enemies head on? or be a Spitter and hit those Humans from a distance? also because I want to have a strong female character for the Marines. go back and see how different the level is by playing as a different character. One reason I suggest this idea is to help replayibility. as a Praetorian I couldn't climb walls but I was a better bullet sponge. I would change my class during the game and play as someone else with noticeable differences to the controls. do you want to play as a male Marine or a woman Marine? do you want to play as a basic Predator using standard weapons or a heavy Predator with stronger armor and weapons more for head on combat? do you want to play as a basic Warrior Xenomorph or a Predalien? this was one thing I had a lot of fun doing in AVP2 with the cheat codes. No, I'm not talking about choosing if you want to be a Xenomorph, Marine, or a Predator before the level starts, I'm talking about WHICH of the Xenos/Marines/Predators you want to play as. I know we had the Praetorians in the 2010 AVP game but I would still like to fight something even bigger as a Marine/Predator.Ĥ: Choose what/who you want to be before the level begins. I would like to have mini-bosses in the next AVP game. I would also like to see some Xenos from previous AVP games like the Ravager and Carrier from AVP: Extinction or atleast something similar to the mutated Xenos from the arcade AVP game. such as the Crusher, the Spitter, and the Raven. While Aliens: Colonial Marines was not a great game, I did like some of the new Xenos that were introduced. so how about a new breed of Xenos that the original strain considers a threat like in the Genocide War?Īnd just like in AVP: Extinction, how about having a rival Predator clan also on the same planet and you encounter them as a Predator? have some Predator Vs Predator moments. AVP: Extinction had yellow Xenos known as the K-Series. It doesn't necessarily need to be Red Xenomorphs. then through out the rest of the game you meet Red Xenomorphs every once in a while, even as a Black Xeno. you did not win the war, the battle is just on pause until the invaders are delt with. you kill several dozen Reds but your fight is interrupted by Marines invading the planet and soon followed by Predators. you're a Xeno fresh from your cocoon and the Queen is ordering you to the front lines to kill the Red Xenos and you join in with other Xenomorph in a bloody battle. have the Xenomorph's campaign open like this. I honestly would like to see something like this in a future game. There was a comic called, Aliens: Genocide that told a story of the Red Xenomorphs. it was clever to have most of the levels on the same map just in different areas with different routes, I wouldn't mind seeing that again, but I would still like to have around atleast 10 or more missions for each faction.
2010 AVP had 5/6 campaigns for each side, lasting for a total of 15 levels or so. I know not all will be taken into consideration but still.įor obvious reasons. I know one of the developers said that they cannot take every idea from every fan into the game because it would never finish development but I would still like to suggest ideas I would really love to see.
Keep in mind these are just ideas, not something that should happen. so when/if this game finally starts to go into development, what would you like to see? a longer campaign for each character? certain weapons you used in previous AVP games? how would you like the story to be handled? I've read that Rebellion would like to make the sequel to the 2010 AVP game that'll be taking place on the Xenomorph home planet, a world rarely ever seen.
